So first, you gotta fill out this document, which is like, to check your English and your background. It's your chance to tell your story. Then, there's this online algorithm test on HackerRank. You can use any language you want to solve it. Lastly, you do a face-to-face interview with an HR person and the development lead. During this, you'll solve three technical/algorithmic problems and have a chat with HR. The problems are kinda average difficulty, meant to see how you approach stuff.

First, there was a phone call. Then, a tech interview with one of the teams focusing on general topics and a small whiteboard coding exercise. Finally, there was an interview with a design team where I had to do a design task on a whiteboard.

The interview process was pretty standard. I first got a call from HR for a phone screen, which was scheduled for a specific time. Then, an engineer called me. The next day, I received an email to schedule an in-person interview at their San Francisco office, which is in a great location. The onsite interview took about 3 hours and included engineers and a PM, followed by HR. I got an offer email from HR saying the team liked me. I tried to negotiate, and HR said she'd talk to the manager and get back to me in 2-3 days, which was after the offer was supposed to expire. Then, HR emailed again saying they'd chosen another candidate because that person asked for less money. I found this really unprofessional for such a reputable company. If they couldn't negotiate, they should have just said they had a fixed budget from the start, instead of delaying me and then saying they found someone cheaper. They should focus on employee quality, not just getting work done as cheaply as possible.
