First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MoneyGram.
Compliance Analyst
I had two phone interviews and then two in-person ones. It seemed like no one was on the same page because everyone asked the same questions, and nobody ever followed up with me. I was always the one sending emails to ask for updates. I started this whole process way back in early July and just heard back today after sending a ton of emails. They really need to get their act together and sort out their hiring process because it makes the company look bad.

- What are your thoughts on this specific role?
- When you complete an assignment, do you typically take the credit yourself or do you share it with your team?
Compliance Officer
Spent several months on interviews, a mix of phone and in-person, totaling 5 rounds. They didn't even bother to call or send a letter to let me know their decision, which was a total waste of my time.
- Questions about compliance related to MSBs.
Compliance Analyst
I was called for a face-to-face interview that took about 15 minutes. They asked me what I know about compliance, to talk about my previous experience, and to talk about a difficult situation I found myself in. The interview was averagely ok. I got an offer letter after three days.
- Can you describe your understanding of this role?
- What relevant experience do you have?
- Could you share an example of a challenging situation you've faced?
