Behavioral

An internal person contacted me about the role and we went through a checklist of behavioral questions. I sensed she was primarily focused on her commission, based on how she asked questions and her urgency. A major red flag was her expectation that I accept the job immediately after the interview. She stated, "our process moves extremely fast so I would need to know if you accept as soon as youre done with the in person interview". Having been a recruiter, I recognize when a recruiter prioritizes their own gain by needing an answer minutes after an interview. I didn't have a good impression of the company or the interview process. Research on Glassdoor confirmed high turnover and a pattern of exploiting entry-level candidates.

Behavioral

I interviewed with Mondo about a year ago and a few things really sold me on the company. I liked the actual work environment, the physical office, and the company culture. I met a lot of team members, and they are sharp, motivated, and clearly driven to succeed. I felt there were no games being played, and they kept me informed throughout the process so I always knew where I stood. I’m glad they offered me the job and I haven’t regretted accepting the position.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Got a call from the recruiter, we chatted a bit about my background and what I'm looking for. They set me up for an interview the next week. First up was the recruiter, who was super chill and even gave me some pointers for the next interviews. Then I met with a sales manager, very direct about the role, laid out the good and bad. I totally nailed the part where I had to sell them something and dealt with their pushback like a champ. Last person I talked to was a regional manager, and that was the tough part. She gave me solid advice on how to interview better, but honestly, based on her feedback, I don't think I really wowed her.
