Started with a call with Brooke the recruiter. Then I had a chat with the sales manager two days later. The sales manager then set up a second interview with her the next day. After that I went to their Chicago office for my final interview, even though the job was in Denver. I met with the sales manager there and then shadowed the senior account director for about half an hour. The recruiter called me the day after and set up a call with the VP of sales for that afternoon. I got the offer that same evening. The entire process took about a week and a half.

Behavioral Technical

A recruiter hit me up on LinkedIn and set up a phone screening call. They told me about the gig and then set up an in-person pretty fast. We actually did a prep call the day before which was super helpful. The in-person was with the Sales Manager, Recruiting Manager, and a couple of Account Directors who would be my potential coworkers. The managers were chill and real about what they expected. The two ADs talked about the job expectations, like being available basically 24/7, even on vacation. They also shared how unhappy they were, mentioning quitting multiple times, one even after only 6 months. They talked about the high turnover. Felt like a scare tactic, which is fine. I told them I wasn't interested. This is probably better for entry-level sales if you don't care about work/life balance.

Behavioral Technical

I reached out to a recruiter on LinkedIn and she got back to me. We had a good chat about the role and then scheduled a phone interview with the sales team lead. It was a good conversation. I emailed both the sales team lead and the recruiter to thank them, but then I never heard back from either of them. It's been over a month, and I still haven't heard anything. Even a simple 'we decided to go with someone else' would be better than no response at all.
