Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mondelēz International.
Marketing Intern
The interview process consisted of 3 steps with 3 different HR representatives. The first two interviews were in English, and the last one was in Italian. I experienced several delays in the timelines. Later, I received a calendar invitation for an open day at the company. After sending follow-up emails, which stated that the previous communication was an error, I never received any further communication.
- What motivated you to apply to Mondelez?
Marketing Intern
The interview process is very long. You start by sending your resume. After that, there are about three tests. These tests are generally difficult and unrelated to the position. For example, a Sales, Marketing, or Business role would have the same tests, which doesn't make sense. One test is a math test, and since it's not a requirement for the position, it's unnecessary. The tests don't determine anything about your personality or skills for the job; they're a complete waste of time. Also, a company that picks employees based on numerical intelligence rather than creativity and personality is unprofessional. If you pass the tests, there's an interview. The interview is easier, but they have so many candidates that the experience is impersonal, and they forget to contact you.
- What would you do in a hypothetical situation?
- Describe a past experience where you faced a specific situation and how you resolved it.
Marketing Intern
The process was super light, welcoming and dynamic. I loved the manager and felt that everyone who works there shares good values and characteristics like sincerity, informality and empathy. The team is very friendly and collaborative. It was very difficult to refuse the offer.
