Graduate Trainee
After submitting my CV, I was invited for an online interview about three weeks later, which lasted 30 minutes. The interview was fun and simple, conducted online. They asked questions using the STAR model, like about a difficult experience and how I handled it. They also asked why I was interested in Mondelez and why I would be a great fit. After that, I received an email to complete a cognitive, numerical, and personality test, which was hard. I got a rejection a week later.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you faced and how you dealt with it?
- What interests you about working at Mondelez?
- What makes you a strong candidate for this position?
Graduate Student
The interview process was a mix of different activities. It included a presentation, an interview, a group activity, and a game. They also gave us a mini tour of the site. The panel was friendly. It would have been better if they had given us feedback on how we did.
- Can you share an instance where you had to influence a colleague?
Graduate Position
So I wanted to share my job application experience with Mondelez, maybe it helps someone. After applying, I got an invite for an online interview which had 3 questions: 'why Mondelez?', 'Why this position?', and 'In which working environment you are the most productive and joyful?'. You also had to make a self-presentation. Then, I had a phone interview with typical competency-based questions, like asking for examples of handling negative feedback, convincing a group, dealing with a difficult coworker, or showing leadership. After that, I got invited to take tests – math, logic, and verbal. You can pick the language for the test, which is good, although sometimes only one or two languages are allowed. You can practice the tests as much as you want before the real one, and I noticed the questions can change. For instance, I practiced the math test, logged out, and the next day the questions were different. After the tests, I was invited to an assessment center, which was from 9 am to 5 pm. There were about 10 candidates (for different roles) and 8 assessors. The first task was a business case where we had a lot of materials about 3 new product launches, and we had to pick one. We had 1 hour and 20 minutes for this, and it involved reading market research, cost/revenue analysis, etc. We were given calculators too. After analyzing the info, we had a group discussion while assessors watched. Then came a role-play task. We went to separate rooms to negotiate with a 'supply chain manager' about delivering our chosen product to the UK. The challenge was that we needed to deliver 20k kg, but only 15k kg was available. After a lunch break and short prep times, we had a presentation. We had to present why we chose a particular product. We prepared some presentation materials and did calculations. During the presentation, we were asked questions like how we calculated things or where we planned to sell the product. Finally, after the presentation, there was an interview with 1 or 2 assessors, with standard competency-based questions similar to the phone interview. They said results would be out within a week. Hope this was useful! Good luck!
- Can you tell me about a time you received negative feedback from your manager?
- Describe a situation where you successfully persuaded a group to adopt a different approach.
- Share an example of a time you worked with a difficult colleague.
