It started with a call from HR for an initial chat. The next interview involved meeting with the Business Director of the brand for a brief conversation. They focused on selling the company and the roles as the best within the IPG group. Following that, I had to present a full project cycle, which didn't impress the GM at all. They asked more direct questions, and at some points, it became a bit uncomfortable because I didn't give the answers they were looking for. It ended with disappointment on both sides, especially since I'm not a Project Manager!

It was a pretty chill process. I went to their office a couple of times and met some of the people on the account team already. The questions were pretty easy and straightforward. We talked about my background and they explained what they do. All the people I talked to were really nice.

I was contacted by HR who then scheduled me for a 1:1 with the hiring manager. The interview with HR was pretty relaxed. She didn't ask me a lot of specific questions about my background. During my conversation with the HR rep, I found out they were considering me for a different position than the one I applied for. I was unsure at first, but after starting at the company, I was happy it was a different department. The job I initially applied for was soon after eliminated. Shortly after meeting the HR rep, I was interviewed by the hiring manager. She asked standard interview questions. After that, I met with her manager. The whole experience was very laid-back.
