The hiring manager and sales manager were very nice, and the process was fine until we discussed compensation. They advertise this role as a "$500,000/yr" position. However, to make that kind of money with their business model, you'd need to sell 333 jobs minimum in a year. The best solar sales reps nationwide sell around 100 jobs a year, working 9am to 9pm, with all the selling and project management needed to maintain that client base. With their current business model, it would be more honest if Momentum advertised this role as a $70,000-$120,000/yr position. One could even argue that would be an oversell in the first year. Just make sure to ask the right questions.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Brandy, and I cannot speak highly enough of her professionalism, dedication, and support throughout the entire hiring process. From our very first interaction, Brandy was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the role. She took the time to understand my experience, career goals, and what I was truly looking for in my next opportunity. What stood out most was how proactive and communicative she was keeping me updated every step of the way, answering my questions with clarity, and always making sure I felt prepared and confident before interviews. Highly recommend
