The onboarding process took way too long. They asked what hospital I wanted to work for even though I had specifically applied to a location and mentioned it during my interview, and then they still ended up putting me at another location.

I got found on Indeed.com. A recruiter called me and mentioned the district manager would reach out for some questions. She did and set up an in-person interview. I waited about an hour and a half because she never showed up, so I called the number she gave me to make sure I was in the right place or if she was still coming. She apologized and said she was in the parking lot. I kind of wondered if she was maybe testing me to see if I would call her? After I accepted the job, I started getting a lot of emails and requirements for onboarding.

Had a great phone chat with the HR person, felt a good connection and it was encouraging. Did some research and prepared for the next interview with the hiring manager. This in-person interview felt unfocused and rushed. The interviewer liked my initiative and said a decision was coming soon, with training to follow, and mentioned a 3rd interview. I followed up a week later to find the job description had changed and it was posted again. I was told I was still considered and HR would update me. Two weeks later, my application status changed to "not selected".

I filled out an application online and then got a call about 3 or 4 days later for a phone interview. They asked more detailed questions about my past experience and 'the 5 best characteristics of a sales person' [which I totally fumbled]. At the end of the phone interview, the interviewer gave me info on a meeting with the District Manager for early the next week. It ended up being rescheduled once. When I went to meet the DM at the hospital she worked at, it turned out to be a group interview, but there was only one other applicant. We waited about 20 minutes because the DM got held up. The interview was pretty easy overall, and they didn't ask any questions like in the phone interview. It was more of a 'when are you available' and 'tell me a bit about yourself' type of thing, kind of a 'do I like you' vibe. She was upfront that the pay wasn't guaranteed to be high, so it wasn't a good fit if I needed money urgently. She finished by saying she was considering a few other people, and if I didn't hear back in a few days, I didn't get the job. I didn't get a call, which was a bit surprising. However, it turned out the hospital didn't actually need anyone, so that might have been why.
