It was a pretty quick interview, like 20-25 minutes total with the general manager and the assistant manager. They really care about the products they sell and want good employees, so it wasn't just a quick chat and then 'you're hired.' They made sure to ask about my strengths, weaknesses, and my goals for both the near and distant future.

I got a text from HR about setting up a phone screening, and I replied within an hour. It took them three days to get back to me, asking if I could talk that day. I said yes, but only until a certain time that afternoon. They texted again three hours later, 15 minutes before my cutoff, asking to call right then. I replied quickly, and they called 5 minutes later. We talked for under 10 minutes, and then they invited me for an in-person interview the next week. They were a bit late for the in-person meeting. They asked some questions that didn't seem relevant and some that were standard. They really focused on my high school experience, which was 14 years ago, and seemed uninterested in my management experience. I guess they didn't think my retail management career was comparable, because they wanted me to talk more about my sales associate roles. I mean, being a manager means being part of a team, so it should count. At the end, they said they'd let me know by Friday, Saturday, or Monday. It's been over a week, and I haven't heard anything, so I'm assuming I didn't get the job. The whole process could have been better.

Behavioral Other

It was a very relaxed process. They want to see if you fit with their motto, friendly, approachable and questions asked will be reflected of that. In addition to your resume, they will ask something they want to know more about, why you want to work here, etc. It's two interviews from the time I got interviewed: phone and then in person at the store location.
