It was a really weird interview. I first talked to the hiring manager on the phone, which was scheduled on a Sunday, but they said they needed to hire someone fast. They said HR would call me to set up an in-person interview, but HR never called. I reached out to the hiring manager again, and then HR finally called me, saying they had been trying to reach me. I'm sure they never did. The in-person interview with the hiring manager was okay. They asked a lot of standard questions like strengths and weaknesses. After that, I met with two senior leaders who didn't have any specific questions. They just looked at my resume and asked vague hypothetical questions, like 'what do you use the most from college?' and 'how would you compare two lists in Excel?'. They weren't clear when I asked for clarification. About a week later, I saw the job title had changed on the portal. Then, senior management called asking if I could interview for a senior analyst position, which I hadn't applied for. They seemed confused, but I asked for the job description. After thinking about it, I declined the interview. They didn't reply to my email.
