I got a call for an interview. Then I went in to talk with the department manager. She then brought two other managers in and they interviewed me. They asked very basic behavioral questions. They seemed really interested and said they'd call with an offer in a few weeks. I didn't get a call, so when I called them back they said they had already filled the position.

I applied a month ago and got an email from HR saying my qualifications were impressive and they wanted to schedule an interview. They asked for my salary requirements and suggested interview dates. I gave them two dates I was free and waited. It took a few days, but they finally got back to me with an interview date that wasn't one of my suggested days. I accepted and rearranged my schedule. I got there about 10 minutes early, and the receptionist let the contact person know I'd arrived. The contact person mentioned the conference room wouldn't be ready until the interview time and she'd come get me. At the interview time, the hiring manager and a few others greeted me. They seemed nice but not super friendly, and my attempts to break the ice didn't work. They briefly talked about the job and company, then started asking questions. The questions weren't too hard, and each person asked about 3-4. Afterward, they let me ask a few questions, and then it was over. As we left, the hiring manager left without me getting a chance to thank her or her thanking me. I didn't get a business card or any contact info, just told HR would be my contact, and I'd only communicated with them via email. It was a disappointing interview. I don't think they were impressed with my background, and honestly, if those women were going to be my bosses, I don't think I'd stay long. So, I decided to withdraw my application and emailed HR to let them know.

I went through an interview for a salaried position at a local office, and the immediate supervisor was the one who interviewed me. The questions they asked were relevant to the position, nothing out of the ordinary. She seemed to be genuinely interested in me as a candidate, and just four days later, I got a job offer from corporate. I've decided to accept the position.
