I applied for the role, then had an initial screening call which was a phone interview. After that, I had a 30-minute panel interview. Then, another meeting was scheduled, which was a one-on-one interview. The interviews included scenario-based questions about handling tough coworker situations or making processes better.

The interview process was laid back and informal, more like a casual chat. I discussed my background and resume with company staff. I had two meetings with employees, including my future manager and the person responsible for my training. I also met the state project head in the second meeting. It wasn't a rigid process like I'd managed before; it felt more like a friendly lunch. After a few days, I had a follow-up phone call with my future supervisor to discuss salary. A few days later, I got an offer call from HR at corporate headquarters. Before that, they ran a background check. The onboarding after I accepted was really smooth and well-organized.

I had one technical round where they asked questions on Microsoft technologies. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager, which was more general. About an hour after that, they offered me the job over the phone. The compensation is good, but the IT work culture is really bad, the worst I've experienced.
