Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Molex.
Senior QA Engineer
This was the worst interview process I've ever experienced. Two interviewers who seemed to lack basic testing knowledge asked me some really strange questions. I'd advise against wasting your time with their Senior QA interview.
- They didn't seem to know what to ask and were just asking random things, then forming questions based on my answers.
Quality Engineer
I interviewed with 4 people, including HR, the Director of Engineering, a Supervisor, and a Sr. QA Engineer. Honestly, I wasn't impressed with their interviewing skills at all; it was very disorganized. I also had to wait several weeks to get an answer about the position. This company has a lot of manufacturing facilities overseas, and they expect employees to travel internationally.
- Would you describe yourself as a black or white type of person?
- In five years, where do you envision yourself?
Quality Inspector
First, there was a regular self-introduction interview. Then, the second round involved reading and writing to define colors. The third round was an interview with the manager. The fourth round was for document verification. Finally, the fifth round was for background verification.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Do you have any questions about your education?
- Are you ready for some math questions?
