The interview was scheduled for 30 minutes, but it ran over by about 30 minutes. It was split into two parts: about 15 minutes for technical skills and the rest for leadership and management experience. During the technical part, I had to do a live coding problem involving a hotel booking API, validating responses, and adding assertions, along with handling sessions and a sample webpage. I explained my thought process as I coded. For the leadership part, we talked about some KPIs, like time to test, which the interviewer later clarified. I learned a lot from that. I think it would be better if they told candidates beforehand about the interview structure, like if there'd be live coding or what specific areas they'd focus on. When an interview is only 30 minutes, you plan to cover limited topics. Clearer expectations would make it more productive. Also, I didn't get much chance to talk about my past experience, which might have given more context to my background and how I approach things.

The interview process included two rounds. The first was an online test with multiple-choice questions. The second round involved a technical discussion. Although the job requirements only mentioned manual testing, the interview focused on API testing. The interviewer stated they were seeking candidates experienced in API testing. It would be beneficial to make job requirements more precise to enable better candidate assessment during the screening phase. Decisions should be made earlier based on technical skills rather than waiting until the end of the interview process. Resumes should be thoroughly reviewed before scheduling interviews.

It was super clear and to the point. One of the best interview processes I've seen. There were 4 rounds in total, which included the HR round. All the rounds were really well-organized, and the questions and assignments directly related to the job. The whole thing moved really fast.
