Behavioral Presentation

The interview started with two team members and the CEO joined us for part of it. Everyone was really nice and other employees even introduced themselves. The office was professional but fun, and there was a cute chihuahua there. The interview went for about 45 minutes, and we had a good talk about what daily life is like at the office, the kind of work they do, and they asked me questions about myself and my background. They said I'd hear back in two weeks if it was a good fit.

Behavioral Technical

I got an email to meet the design team at MOD. Nobody greeted me when I arrived, people just kept working, and some stared. Eventually, a woman greeted me and said the designers would be with me shortly. The designers, who I met after realizing who they were, walked by me several times without acknowledging me, which felt rude given they knew I was coming for an interview and wasn't greeted sooner. During the interview, they mentioned sometimes working until midnight to finish projects. Based on Glassdoor salaries, I currently earn at least $10k more in a role where I don't have to work overtime. They barely asked any questions beyond what was on my resume. Since I never heard back, I assume I didn't get the job, which is fine.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They warned me about the amount of overtime they work.

The interview started with a big InDesign test where I had to import data from Excel and use styles for formatting. Lots of proofreading was needed too. After that, I came in for the interview. It was in this really small room with all the designers crammed at tables. They sat me at the end of one, which was super awkward but I could see the miserable vibe. They rushed the interview cause they had a call. The CEO walked me out and complained about some employees, which was a red flag. I was worried about overtime and didn't want the job, but they didn't offer it.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Regarding the type of work you did for the test, can you complete it quickly and without any errors?
  • Would you be open to working overtime?
