First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mochi Health.
Associate Product Manager
I applied online and got an interview invitation the next business day. The recruiter was super enthusiastic and said I was moving on even before the interview finished. After that, I had to send my transcript. Even though I'm an engineering student with a B average (3.98/5.0), I got accepted to the next stage (a take-home assessment) within 2 hours of sending it. I submitted the 4-hour take-home product spec assessment three days later, over the weekend. Five business days after that, I got an automated rejection email. No feedback on the take-home or even a personalized rejection. Pretty frustrating.

Product Manager
I got an email to set up a chat. The recruiter was really friendly and it was a pretty casual conversation. After that, I was given a take-home assignment with some typical product-related questions and a feature design task. Then, I had to present it to the CEO.

Associate Product Manager
The interview process started with a recruiter call, followed by a take-home assessment. Then there was a 15-minute interview/call, and then a bunch of other steps that were not disclosed or communicated properly (I was eliminated here). The recruiter was awesome, kind and respectful. However, everything after that was a terrible experience and it seemed like they do not respect the candidate's time at all. The 15-minute interview with the CEO was rescheduled without any communication, she showed up 8 minutes late, asked questions without showing any interest in my response, told me that there were other candidates ahead of me in the process (I found this extremely disrespectful and discouraging), implied there'd be no work-life balance as "it's a demanding job", and the atmosphere she created felt borderline condescending. I will discourage anyone from applying as it seems like a waste of time.
- Could you tell me what you consider your greatest strength to be?
