First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MobyMax.
Account Executive
It was a pretty easy interview process, with two phone interviews that had pretty standard questions. Since it's a remote job, we didn't have to meet in person. I got the offer about a week after the two rounds of questions, and it was in my expected range.
- Tell me about your motivations and why you think you're a good fit for this position.
Sales Representative
It's a two step interview process with good communication. I first spoke with the Chief Revenue Officer. I was nervous at first, but he was great. He was down-to-earth, friendly, and let me ask as many questions as he did. He was really honest about the job, making sure I understood the good and the bad. Then, I had a role play with a sales manager. Overall, it was a good experience.

React Javascript Engineer
The interview process felt a bit unprofessional, despite the people being nice. I did well in their interviews and tests, and they gave me a tentative offer, which they later rescinded. The technical interview, with the CTO, involved technical questions and live coding in a shared document. I asked how I did, and he said I did great. Oddly, he initially interviewed me for a backend role, but I handled those questions too. A few weeks later, I got a standard rejection email saying they found someone who better fit their immediate needs. I didn't reply. But then, a few weeks after that, they reached out again with an apology and seemingly good news. They mentioned a new React engineer opening and wanted to see if I was still available, impressed by my technical interview performance. They explained the initial rejection was due to budget constraints for my rate (€28/hour), but their VP of engineering had convinced management to increase the budget. HR confirmed they could now meet my rate. I accepted and was set for a quick chat with the VP of engineering before the formal contract. After that meeting, where the VP seemed nice and outlined dev processes, they said a contract would follow in a few days. Two weeks passed with no word. I followed up with HR, who delivered more bad news: they couldn't offer me the job due to the CEO changing his mind. This left me with a bad impression of the company's overall unprofessionalism.

Support Specialist
This is a multi-step hiring process. It usually includes: writing up a job description, putting the job opening out there, setting up interview times, doing initial interviews, having people come in for interviews, getting back to candidates, and then finally making a hire.
