First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MobileCause.
Account Executive
First, I had a phone interview with a recruiter. Then, I went in person to meet with the VP of Sales. The interview was pretty easy, though the VP seemed to have forgotten I was coming and didn't know my background. He asked standard questions, gave me a tour of the office, and then emailed me an offer.
- Would you be okay doing demonstrations using screen sharing?
- What's your target for daily cold calls?
- What drives you?
Account Executive
I interviewed with the manager and did a short presentation to showcase my sales abilities. The conversation was really helpful in understanding the job and what's needed to do well. Waiting in the lunch area before the interview, I got to observe how current employees interact and even chatted with a few of them, which was super useful.
- What are some typical interview questions you might ask?
- Can you provide examples of standard interview inquiries?
Inside Sales Executive
The hiring process was responsive and transparent. It began with a 30-minute interview, and if successful, it was followed by a 1-hour interview (potentially longer if they felt you were a good fit) with the key executives. You get feedback very quickly. Good questions and process.
- How would you handle a situation where a customer is not showing urgency in purchasing a technology product, especially if they are behind on adopting new technologies?
