Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mobile Programming.
Frontend Developer
The interviewer was rude and belittling, dismissing my correct answer and underestimating my ability to complete a React coding task. Please be more polite and supportive, and refrain from displaying a bad attitude towards candidates.
- Could you build a To Do list app?
- Is it possible for a browser to interpret JSX directly?
- Can you answer some fundamental questions about React?
Frontend Engineer
I applied through LinkedIn and an HR person called me the next day to schedule the interview. There were two technical interviews and then a final HR round. The interviewer was helpful and asked basic to medium level questions.
- Can you explain console.log questions on objects?
- Can you explain console.log questions on promises?
- Can you explain console.log questions on setTimeout?
UI Developer
The interview had a coding round with a JavaScript snippet and a managerial round. The managerial round covered tech not listed in the job description, which felt like a waste of time.
- Can you write code to flatten an array?
- What are your thoughts on various technologies outside of those specified in the job description?
