Head of Department
The process was not the greatest. Initially, I was excited as the company seemed like a great fit and I was enthusiastic throughout. There ended up being 4 rounds, involving speaking with various members across different offices/countries. There were delays in communication between rounds, and when I received my rejection email, it mentioned everything they were impressed with but provided no feedback on what I could have done differently, which wasn't helpful.

Vice President
I was first reached out to by someone in HR. We had a brief online chat, it was pretty relaxed. After that, I met with the hiring manager for an in-person chat; they were pretty upfront and easy to talk to. Then I had a third chat with a colleague from the agency who was focused on crisis comms. They all kept in touch after each step. Ultimately, I didn't get the role.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- Which media contacts do you currently have relationships with?
- Are you available for travel?
Business Events Account Manager
I went through the interview process for the Business Events Account Manager position at MMGY Global. First, I had a screening call with HR, and then a second interview with the hiring manager and her manager. They said I'd hear back in a few days, but then I was totally ghosted. My message to HR was ignored, and the company just put the job posting back up. It's not about not getting the job, but about how unprofessional it was. I put time and effort into preparing for a good interview, and getting no communication or update, not even a simple reply, really shows how they treat candidates.
- Can you discuss your experience and how it relates to the job's needs?
Front End Developer
First up there's a chat to see if you're a good fit and talk about your background. They'll ask about your experience and what makes you qualified, and also give you a feel for the company vibe. Then, you gotta do a dev test where you build a webpage based on a design for one of their sites. You'll get the deets on what's needed and when it's due.
- Can you tell me about your background and how you'd fit into this role?
- What experience and qualifications do you have?
- What are your thoughts on our company culture?
