I applied and heard back from a recruiter within a week. They did a quick phone chat. I was told that if the hiring manager liked me, they'd reach out in 1 to 90 days for another interview. The next week, the recruiter called and said the hiring manager wanted to chat, but first I needed to complete an application and do a phone-based personality test. I did both and had the phone interview the next day. The recruiter let me know the following week that they decided to hire someone internally.

I spoke with the hiring manager and a director for some questions and answers. Then we did more Q&A and a role play. The Q&A was mostly about them getting to know me, asking things like why I was interested in the role and why I'd be a good fit. For the role play, I had to meet with three people and 'sell' marketing services in a fake situation. I had about a day to get ready for it. They offered me the job the next day.

You should get ready to present a marketing strategy for a client. When I interviewed, they used Celebration Cinema as an example, which was about 13 years ago. They might want to see how you'd do a needs assessment.

It was the most detailed that I have ever experienced, but I think that is a good thing. They are looking for people that are the top in their field. It makes for a great working enviroment, because they have taken the time to really evaluate everyone that they hire.
