I had a phone interview with MJH. The person I spoke with was really nice, and we started by talking a lot about technical stuff like if I could travel and what my salary expectations were. But then it got weird. First, the interviewer basically told me I wasn't really applying for the job I applied for, but since they had my resume, they'd try to find a role for me. I asked for some details about what that might look like, but they said they'd figure it out later, which isn't very professional. Second, I brought up the bad reviews on Glassdoor and the issues they mentioned, like high turnover and a bad work environment. They gave a typical HR response, saying they couldn't address anonymous reviews and that some quitting is expected because they acquired a new company. This didn't answer my question and makes me think the negative reviews are probably true, or at least the company doesn't like being challenged on them.

Since I just graduated, this was my very first role after finishing school. The initial HR contact was super helpful throughout the entire process and really supportive, answering all my questions. I had a few more conversations after that, and they all went great! They did include a personality assessment, which I found a bit challenging to complete, but overall, it was a fantastic experience. I'm really excited to start.
