The interview process had 5 rounds. First, there was an HR interview with HK HR, focusing on basic behavioral questions and your resume. Then, there was an essay writing part, about your career prospect and understanding of the firm. After that, another HR interview with JPN & HK HR, similar to the first round. Next was an AC (Assessment Center) which included a group discussion on a case and a 2-person group presentation on one of three topics. Finally, a panel interview where they asked all sorts of questions, including technical and behavioral ones.

Behavioral Technical

The hiring process was super slow, and the job was posted for months, with the salary increasing each time it was refreshed. It was a long process with no feedback at the end. The steps felt repetitive and lacked clear strategic direction. They claim to work independently from the home office with more autonomy, but the work and salary offered don't seem to match up.

I was headhunted twice for the same relationship manager role and then ended up getting rejected. The company was looking for a native Japanese speaker, but they interviewed me, a foreigner, and then commented that my Japanese wasn't up to par. I had 3 interviews on the same day, and they were all pretty polite and calm.
