It started with Hirevue which was non technical motivational questions, then an assessment center (AC) which involved a group task, a presentation, and an interview. You have to prep a 10 minute presentation beforehand, then answer 15-20 minutes worth of questions about your presentation during the AC. Then an offer was extended.
- Could you explain the relationship between changes in interest rates and bond prices?
- What is the significance of this relationship?
- Are there other factors that can influence bond prices?
Intern
The interview process involved two questions. The first question was about your suitability for the company and the internship. The second question asked about a recent learning or reading related to Finance and Markets that is relevant to the internship.
- How are you a good fit for Mizuho and this summer internship?
- Describe something you've read or learned that applies to this Finance and Markets internship.
Intern
The application starts with an interview, which will mostly cover behavioral questions, with maybe one or two brain teasers thrown in. Then, the assessment center includes a group project, an individual project (which requires advance preparation), and a final interview.
- Tell me about a public figure you admire.
- Who is your favorite public personality?
