The interview with HR happened in person and was mainly about my past work experiences, which are limited because of my young age and assistant role.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The Store Manager position at MIU MIU in Frankfurt has been open for a very, very long time, and it's likely they don't want to fill it due to costs. Despite this, I only heard back 6 months (!) after applying and was invited to an online interview. It went very well, and I felt comfortable, increasing my interest in working for the Prada Group. When asked about my salary expectations, I inquired about the salary range, and they said "as little as possible." Yet, they seem to be looking for a perfect Store Manager, which is odd considering the position has been vacant since before Covid (!). Anyway, they said they'd get back to me in a few days. After waiting in vain for 2 weeks, I followed up, emphasizing that we could likely agree on salary if that was the issue and that I really wanted to work for them. Consequently, I was invited to a second online interview, which also went very well, and I was repeatedly told my answers were perfect. On the same day, I received a call and was invited for an in-person meeting at the store the next day, which I gladly accepted. This meeting also went well; I met the team, was shown around the store, and we had a long, detailed chat over coffee. A few days later, I was informed that they weren't 100% sure and therefore had to decline. I found this very strange and a huge pity because I could have significantly advanced the store and achieved a lot, but it's impossible to prove potential without being given a chance.

So I got a call from the Talent and Resourcing Manager, it was super short, like 10 minutes. They mentioned a role at Miu Miu and asked if I was interested. Later that day, the Miu Miu store manager called me and we set up an interview for the next day. On the way to the interview, the manager called again saying she was busy and needed to push it back by an hour. We ended up agreeing to meet someone else first, then the store manager about 30 minutes after the original time. I chatted with the other person interviewing, and then the store manager showed up. She barely asked anything, just a couple of questions about why I want to work in retail and what I know about Miu Miu. She then said she didn't know what else to ask since I don't have prior retail experience. I was pretty bummed and felt disrespected because I'd already sent my resume, so I figured they should have known that. If experience was that crucial, they shouldn't have even invited me. But since they did, I don't think that was the right way to handle it. I emailed HR afterwards for some feedback to figure out my next steps, but never heard back. Total waste of my time.
