The whole thing had 3 rounds. The first was a long technical discussion (over 1.5 hrs) and they took like three weeks to tell me the result. They really wanted me to come to the office for a face-to-face interview, which meant a long trip for me. I'd already talked about salary expectations with HR and they confirmed it, which is why I agreed to go. The second round had both technical and HR parts on the same day. They said the offer would be out the next week, but it actually took 3.5 weeks. HR and management kept me waiting, I had to follow up twice a week. In the end, they gave a weak reason for the offer, which was basically the same as my current salary and way below what I expected. They didn't even arrange for travel or reimbursement for the interview, which I had to pay for myself after they confirmed everything. I wish they had more respect for people's time and commitment, especially since they're part of a Japanese company known for punctuality and honesty.

I applied online and got a call from HR after about two weeks. First, I had an HR interview. Then, there was a panel interview with three managers. After that, I had another interview with the Manager and the CEO. The Manager also took me on a plant tour following this interview. Later, HR called me for an interview with colleagues, which was a bit technical. Finally, I had one more interview with HR where they went over all the benefits and other details, and also asked some behavioral questions. They sent me a job offer via email, but the salary was too low, so I declined. The facility and campus were nice, though.

I had two interviews with this company while looking for an internship. The first was a more general interview and then the next was a more in depth interview to see if I was qualified for the position. The questions were pretty average and nothing out of the ordinary. The interviewers were very nice and seemed generally concerned about your answers and not like they were just going through the motions. The interviews were all by phone which I am not a fan of but they were not that bad. Overall the interview process was good even though I did not get the job.
