I had a technical phone screen first with the hiring managers. We talked about data structures in Python and Java, and also about my past work and projects. The next day, the recruiter called me. She asked about my phone interview and what happens next. Then I went onsite for a full day of interviews. It was like 6 interviews, each with 2 interviewers. The first was an HR question round. The second was a system design question where I had to outline the system and draw some class diagrams. The third was a fast-paced technical interview with about 15-20 questions covering Java, Python, design patterns, and a LeetCode problem on the whiteboard. The fourth round was with HR again to sort out joining details. The fifth was a general behavioral chat with the Senior Engineering Head. The last one was with the QE team, also behavioral. I got the offer three days later.

We started with a 30-minute chat with a Senior Global Talent Partner to talk about the project and my background. After that, there was a 30-minute interview with the Senior Manager Software Engineering where we went deeper into my technical background and how it fits the project. Finally, I had an hour-long session with some senior engineers from the team, which was a Q&A focused on the technical skills needed for the role.

Technical Coding Behavioral

I had a phone chat with a recruiter who went over my background and asked some C++ questions, mostly easy but two were pretty hard. Then, I got invited to a technical interview with two senior engineers where I had to solve two easy coding problems. They were really professional and I had a good time. I guess I didn't get a callback because I was a bit too slow with the C++ syntax, which is understandable. It would have been nice to get some feedback though.
