The interview process was pretty straightforward. The Head of Recruiting wasn't impressive. The building space is older and antiquated. I was told they are a low-margin shop and it's tough to make money unless you're on the senior leadership team, who are supposedly way overpaid.

I had an interview with a recruiting manager before. Then Lauren from NYC contacted me for another interview, an open house. It was a bit weird, but I went for it since I wanted the job. Three people interviewed me and liked me. Lauren emailed a few days later saying they want to hire me, but I needed to meet the CEO. She said she'd contact me in 2 weeks when she's back in the office. After 2 weeks, I emailed her about meeting the CEO, but no reply. I called a few days later, she said she'd call back, but never did. I emailed again and she said they decided to hire for sales instead of recruiting. I don't get the game playing or the sudden change of mind. I was about to quit my job, glad I didn't. I don't get how this company is rated so high. What they did wasn't right and I'm sure it'll happen again.

There were 3 rounds of interviews: one with the hiring manager, one with the team, and one with the director of the department. We discussed technical details and past performance metrics. They also assessed if my personality would be a good fit for the team. I've been with the company for 2 years now.
