First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mitchell 1.
Sales Contractor
So, first I had this intro call with the Regional Sales Manager, who is the one that makes the final decision. Then later that week, I had a Zoom interview with the same person. They asked me stuff about my background, what makes me tick, and how disciplined I am. After that, I did a personality test to see my natural sales skills and a super basic computer test on things like copy-pasting and using Word and Excel.
- What drives you?
- Is that drive strong enough to make you money every day?
- Tell me about your background.
Sales Contractor
You'll go through a few interviews and if they like you, they might hire you. It's not a long process, and you'll need to take a personality test. It's not a big deal. Give it a shot if you're not keen on a salary.
- What's your experience level?
Technical Support Representative
They asked me in-depth networking and active directory questions. I had one phone interview and then a face-to-face one afterwards. Everyone was really nice and it was a pleasant interview. The only thing that was a bummer was the pay they were offering compared to the knowledge needed for the job.
- Do you know how to use virtual machines?
Inside Sales Representative
The interview process was totally unprofessional. One of the two interviews involved profanity. They then spring some role play game which you're not prepared for in one bit. They describe it as one of the best opportunities and rushed me in to get an interview and got the standard 'we went with more qualified candidates' in less than an hour after I left. The place seems like a glorified call center with no real advancement available.
- How coachable are you and how well do you take direction?
