I first interviewed on August 3rd and it went well, giving me a good sense of the role. I was told the next step was to meet the office manager, my potential close collaborator, and that I'd be called the next day to schedule. I didn't hear back for a while and had to call several times. Finally, on August 26th, I met the office manager. The director mentioned I was in the top four candidates and a decision would be made by August 27th. He said to call him directly if HR didn't follow up. I never heard from HR or the director again, even after leaving a voicemail. Despite two good interviews, separated by a long gap, I was disappointed to see the status 'Reviewed; not selected' on the career portal instead of being directly notified.

The interview process was really smooth and welcoming. They were clear about what the job entailed and its demands. I got to meet two executives and someone who used to do this job. I felt like I had a good understanding of the position after the interview. It seemed like they were honest about both the good and bad aspects, which will help me decide if it's the right fit.
