I had an interview for a Project Manager position. The interviewer was 20 minutes late and blamed HR for some mix-up. The interviewer was a Project Manager, but it would have been better if someone from HR was there because communication was difficult as English was not his first language. I started by giving a brief overview of my experience. Then, I was asked about specific projects I had worked on. I noticed some questions were repeated, which made me think I hadn't answered them in the way they wanted, so I made sure to ask if my responses were addressing the PM's questions. I was then asked about my approach to planning projects, focusing on planning and initiation. The PM told me that when asked this question, I should discuss the entire project lifecycle. I explained that I might have misunderstood the question, as I thought he was asking about my method for starting a project. He then ended the interview abruptly, saying it wasn't what he was looking for. This was the first time an interview ended so suddenly for me. At least I knew where I stood. It was a terrible experience; the interviewer wasn't friendly. I understand he might have had issues with HR beforehand, but that's not my problem. They should have had someone else present during the interview.

I went through 4 rounds of interviews, with 2 of them being face-to-face. It felt like a waste of time because after all the rounds, they said they didn't have the budget for the expected CTC. Why process my profile then? I spent 2.5 hours at the Mirum Mumbai office for the face-to-face interviews with the so-called AVPs. One person came, talked a lot, and left without anything being relevant to the conversation. It's a basic check: if a company doesn't have the budget, they shouldn't proceed with a candidate. They were discussing some high-level martech stuff that sounded like a space project. A complete waste of time. Please double-check with them 100 times before going for an interview, especially face-to-face, to see if they can afford you or at least have a decent budget. Not a recommended place to work; don't believe the reviews.

good experience, it was nice. First, they asked me to introduce myself and my strengths. Then they asked about my background and school degree. After that, they asked about skills I acquired and how to use them. They also asked some questions about my resume. Finally, I had to fill out an information form.
