Behavioral Case

They had me talk to HR first to set up a video interview. The video interview was 30 minutes and I was interviewed by 3 people. It was kind of awkward because they would ask questions and then just write down my answers. They didn't really talk to me or ask follow-up questions. The questions were hard and sometimes they'd ask a few things all at once.

The process starts with an online application where you answer some questions, which takes about an hour. Next is an in-basket test, which is like doing your old job as a secretary or admin assistant for 60 minutes with a packet of tasks, calendars, and emails. You need to get a score of 28 or better to pass, and you'll hear back within a week. If you pass, the application review committee will look at your application, and if they like it, they'll call you about a month later for the first interview. This interview includes a skills test for Excel and Word, and writing an email, which takes about 25 minutes and only requires basic skills. After that, you'll have a group interview with several people to discuss questions. If you get a callback the same week, you'll have a second interview with a smaller group (maybe 3 people) from the specific department to see if you're a good cultural fit. You should know by the end of the day if you got the job offer.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

After applying online, HR reached out to schedule a skills assessment and the first interview. The skills assessment included a writing sample and a technical skills test, each taking about 10 minutes. These directly tested job-related skills, unlike some other companies. Then, there was a panel interview via Zoom with six interviewers. They couldn't provide feedback or engage in discussion, but gave us the questions about 15 minutes beforehand to allow for preparation. The final interview was held on campus with senior directors.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Can you tell us about your background and why you're a good fit for this role?
  • How do you handle time management when facing tight deadlines and a heavy workload?
  • What are your strategies for staying organized?
