Business Analyst
The interview process started with an online test. This test had SQL code, Python code, statistics questions (like mean and median), and aptitude questions. After that, there was a face-to-face interview where they asked me about Python and SQL.
- Could you write a Python code for the Fibonacci Series?
- Using SQL, how would you find the 1st, 5th, and 9th youngest employees based on their joining date, by joining multiple tables?
- Can you write a query to calculate the average salary for each department?
Business Analyst
Applied through LinkedIn and got contacted for the post of Senior Business Analyst. Took one hour online test and after clearing that went on for the PI and from there everything gone downhill. There they told me that there was some miscommunication and the post was for Business Analyst (unprofessionalism at its best), and they took 1 Analytics test for 2 hours and 5 PI in total span of over 9 hrs. I cleared and they offered me the job but without discussing with me, they just went ahead and offered me a salary that was way lower than my expectations. I talked with them but later found out that the HR that was handling me had resigned and they made up that I agreed on that salary myself. There was no connect in the company what so ever and they just purely unprofessional. Please look out for a better company than this.
- A 2 hour Analytics test was given.
- The first PI was about the Analytics test.
- PIs 2, 3, and 4 were miscellaneous, with the same questions asked repeatedly, requiring the same answers.
Business Analyst
They sent me an email saying there would be a logical reasoning and data interpretation test, but when I clicked the link it was a Python test. I completed it anyway and let the HR know. A few days later, I got another email with a link to the correct test. I prepared for logical reasoning and DI questions. However, when I started the test, it was an aptitude test with CAT-level difficulty. It's ridiculous that for a Business Analyst role, they expect candidates to solve CAT-level questions instead of focusing on the CV.
- Questions at a CAT level, including probability and number theory.
