The interview process was amazing. I had a first interview over the phone and then a second interview in person. They asked a lot of questions and I got to ask them questions too, and they gave me a tour of the office. They mentioned they would let me know about the job offer the Monday before the long weekend, but they never contacted me. I followed up via email, and still no response. It felt very unprofessional to be told I'd hear back about the job and then have weeks go by without any communication. At the very least, I wish they would have contacted me to let me know either way so I wasn't left waiting.

The interview was fast and I wasn't asked much. We chatted briefly about the job, then I was asked if I could handle designing business cards, flyers, and brochures. After that, I was put in front of a computer with only Microsoft Word and tasked with creating a business card for a customer. I finished it, and the interviewer seemed impressed. That was the end of the interview. The manager seemed disorganized and couldn't even get the designers' computers to boot up. The most frustrating part was that after telling me I was a strong candidate and would hear back by Friday, I never received a call.

It was a simple and quick phone interview, followed by an in-person interview. After that, I was given a skill test where I had to create a flyer using specific design skills. The whole process was fast and easy because it was a small company and I had prior experience at another Minuteman location.
