I put in my application with my cv and cover letter, and the whole process was quite straightforward. About a week later, I was asked to complete a brief assessment, which was pretty easy. Another week went by, and then I had a video interview. This involved three questions, with one being a practice one. I had a couple of minutes to think about each question before responding within 90 seconds.

It was an assessment centre, potentially with up to 12 other people. There were about 4 stages in total. First, a one-on-one interview. Then, a group task where we were observed. After that, a written assessment that we did individually, though the group was split with some writing next to me. Finally, a role-play situation that I did on my own. It felt like a good way for them to see what we could do, and honestly, it was less scary than facing a panel alone!

I submitted my cover letter and CV online. Then, I was invited to an assessment day at the central city location. We did four activities over three hours. The activities included a one on one interview, a role play where we acted as a case manager and some staff members were clients, a group activity where we had to decide on the best course of action for a client, and a 20 minute written assessment about a client's career prospects.
