Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mindlance.
Senior Recruiter
I went through 3 rounds of interviews. The first was with an Account Manager and it went well. The second was with a Vice President and that also went well. The final round was an online test. I passed all of them and got the job at Mindlance.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your skills and technology expertise?
- Walk me through your resume screening process.
Associate Recruiter
This was the most misleading interview process I have ever experienced. The corporate recruiter was very transparent about the people who will interview you but was misleading towards the end. The first person was the manager of this new initiative and he was kind asked relevant questions and I felt positive. Then the second interview was with the VP. He was the most condescending, arrogant jerk I have ever interviewed with. He did not ask questions that were relevant at all and made to make you look like an idiot. I highly doubt he asks everyone the exact same questions. He would say fair enough when I managed to scramble for an answer for his irrelevant questions.
- Why did you get into recruiting?
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult customer.
- What was your GPA and why wasn't it higher?
Executive Recruiter
So, for this role, there are 3 interview rounds. First up is a phone call with the talent acquisition team. Then, you'll have an onsite IQ/QC/QA test. Finally, the last round is an onsite interview with the hiring manager.
- Can you share your previous experience?
- What's your understanding of our company?
- Could you walk me through a scenario based on your past experiences?
