Account Manager
The interview process was pretty standard. It involved three phone interviews, one with the recruiter, another with a peer, and a third with the hiring manager. After that, there was a video call with a senior director. I received an offer in less than a week, which felt pretty quick.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- What are your career aspirations for the future?
Senior Account Manager
So far I've only done the first phone interview, but it was really good. They were professional, friendly, and gave me a lot of info. I felt like they did a good job explaining what the job is all about. No complaints at all.
- What's prompting your job search away from your current employer?
Account Manager
The interview process had three stages. The first round was supposed to be with the RSM at 2:30 PM, but he was really late due to a meeting, showing up after 3:30 PM. The HR person wasn't answering my calls, and I had to ask security to let her know I was waiting. After about 30 minutes, I found out she had gone out for lunch. The whole interview thing wrapped up around 6 PM. Three days later, I got an offer. For negotiations, I spoke with their chief HR officer. He was the main reason I turned down the job offer. He mentioned that since it was a new technology for me, it would take about six months to learn, and during that time, they'd offer the same salary as my previous job, followed by a 10-15% raise. He was pretty rude and disrespected me several times. When I called him out, he even bragged about his connections with the CEO, basically saying I couldn't do anything about it.
- Can you describe your previous role?
- What's your experience in account management?
- What strategies have you employed for pipeline development?
