So they start with a phone screen that can be 15 to 45 minutes. Then there's a practical test that takes up most of the day, starting around 8:30 am with a problem explanation. This test is 3 hours long. After that, there's lunch, followed by a code review. If they like your code, there's a language interview and an experience interview. The whole thing is about 5-7 hours.

First I spoke with a recruiter and one of the developers at the company. They asked me about my programming background and then some general JavaScript questions. After that, I had an on-site interview with three people, including the lead developer. This part involved coding questions on a computer, white-boarding, and logic problems. I also met with a UI designer and a product manager.

The whole day was packed. Started with a 3 hour coding project. Then we had a social lunch break. After lunch, I met with engineers to go over my code, talk about my implementation choices, and answer questions. Then there were one-on-one meetings with engineers and management.
