First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mindbody.
Customer Support Associate
I applied online and heard back from a recruiter about a month later. They scheduled a phone screening with me, and the recruiter was really friendly and enthusiastic. After asking basic questions about my background, they passed my information to the hiring team. I got a same-day response and set up a 1.5-hour interview with the team leads. It was a great conversation; they were personable and down-to-earth, and excited about the company and how my skills could fit. The next day, I received a call with an offer and instructions for pre-employment tasks. It was a great experience, and the whole process, from the recruiter call to the offer, took less than 3 days. Just make sure you have plenty of situational examples ready to go, showing how you've used specific skills.

The interview process was great. It was very thorough because they wanted to be sure they were hiring to support the company culture. I had the opportunity to interview with multiple levels of leadership.

The whole thing took like a month. They were totally inflexible with scheduling, which was tough since I have a job. I had to go in three times: first for an interview, then another interview, and then they made me retake this CCAT test because they messed up. I had to rearrange my whole work schedule, like showing up at 2 am, working a full shift, then racing over to Mindbody and changing in my car to make it on time. After a phone call, and the second and third interviews, a recruiter told me they really liked me and wanted me to start on a specific date with a certain schedule. Then they dropped the bomb about the technical error with the assessment, saying it wasn't about passing or failing but just a required step. I went in again, and then just waited over a week with no response. I reached out and got ghosted. After a month of this, I got an automated email saying I didn't get the job. Super disappointing how it all went down, totally wasted my time. The worst part is they couldn't even be bothered to have a real person call or email me to say they'd changed their mind, especially after all the effort I put in. I wouldn't want to work for a company that handles things like that anyway.
- How do others generally describe your personality?
- In a situation where your phone ceases to function, what actions would you take?
- What is your motivation for seeking employment at Mindbody?
