First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Minacs.
Technical Support Representative
It was a really straightforward and quick process. First, I did a phone simulation on my computer. Then, I took a couple of long surveys about my personal preferences, which gave a good sense of who I am. I actually read the detailed analysis of my survey results, and it was surprisingly accurate and pretty interesting. After that, there was an in-person interview that included a quiz on basic computer knowledge. The interview itself was easy, but it had some odd questions that I really had to think hard about to answer.
- Can you recall a situation where you had to provide step-by-step instructions to someone?
Technical Support Representative
Saw newspaper ad and applied online. Had a customer service test right away. Recruiter called the next day to set up a phone interview. Talked about pay range, background/credit check expectations, and skills questions like what is RAM?. Then I was invited to take 2 more tests (personality, simulation). After that, I had an in-person interview with another recruiter. Before the interview, I took test #4 on computer knowledge. Standard questions were asked during the interview. I didn't get to see the work area.
- What are your strengths?
Technical Support Representative
I applied online and then got a call from HR for an interview. Then I was scheduled for another interview, but before that, I had to take a technical aptitude test. After finishing the test, I had the interview with the Team leads.
