Behavioral Technical

It began with a recruiter call asking about my availability for an onsite meeting and some brief questions about my experience. Then, HR contacted me to schedule an interview with the team leader and a manager. This ~2-hour round was very technical, covering the subject matter (NGS analysis) and personal aspects like handling deadlines. I was told I'd hear back the following week, but it took a month to get invited to their headquarters for a ~1-hour meeting with HR, which felt like a psychological evaluation with many personal questions. I also met two friendly PMs. Again, they said I'd get a response within a week, but I was ghosted for two months. Eventually, I received an automated rejection email. Furthermore, it took them over two months to reimburse my travel expenses.

Behavioral Technical

I interviewed with a group leader, team coordinator, and another team member for about an hour. They each introduced themselves and their jobs, and then asked me to do the same. The group leader and team member were nice, but the coordinator seemed a bit down, which made things a little awkward. They said I'd hear back that week, but I didn't get any news for three weeks. I had to reach out myself to find out I wasn't chosen.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

A few days after applying, I was invited to a first online interview. They asked about my studies (I'm a career starter) and my skills and experience. There were a few technical questions, but nothing too difficult if you've familiarized yourself with the job beforehand. Then a couple of personal questions. Shortly after the interview, I was invited to a second in-person meeting. Here I had to present my master's thesis in 15 minutes, then I was asked a few more questions/I asked questions. Afterward, I got a tour of the company and the labs. They offered me 'du' right at the beginning, and I felt very comfortable. All in all, I found the interviews very pleasant and the process very fast and uncomplicated.
