The interview process was very straightforward and easy. The recruiter was helpful throughout and the data scientists I spoke with were all really smart and pleasant. There wasn't a coding part, but there were technical questions and standard interview questions.

I applied online and heard back two weeks later about submitting a recorded video, which had a one-week deadline. Then, after another two weeks, they emailed to set up a technical interview. Within a week, I had an onsite interview that lasted from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 1.5-hour lunch interview. The onsite itself had 7 rounds with about 14 people, including two from different departments. They eventually rejected me three weeks later.

Technical Behavioral

It was a messy interview process. I started with a technical assessment that took 2-3 hours, involving Excel and SAS code. After that, the recruiter had some follow-up questions about my experience, which I answered via email. Then, they scheduled about 3 hours of onsite interviews, consisting of 5-6 rounds, each 30 minutes long with no breaks. It felt like diversity wasn't a priority. They ended up low-balling me with an offer for a Senior Data Analyst role, citing a lack of 'claims data experience' which they could have seen on my resume. They also seemed unsure about the role of a Data Scientist within their organization.
