Behavioral Technical Presentation

Applied via website and got a call from the internal recruiter the next business day to set up the initial screening. Scheduled the first formal interview for the next day before being passed on to the next in-depth interview with the regional sales director 24 hours later. Was told by the recruiter and regional SD that I’d move on to an interview with their VP of Sales, but ran into scheduling issues before all communication stopped. Did not receive any status updates for two weeks after that, despite multiple attempts via phone and email. Wrote another follow up email to both the recruiter and sales director to which I got the response that they were working through their first round of interviews. Another two weeks went by so I let them know I’d be in town and could set aside time for an in-person meeting since all had been phone/virtual up to that point. Met in person with the same RSD and then did a virtual interview with the Territory Manager. About a week and a half later was called by the recruiter and told they would not be moving forward with my candidacy, but that they did not have feedback as to why. Was told I would have feedback in the next couple of days and despite another direct email to the RSD to gain insight as to why I was not chosen to move forward, still have not heard back and do not expect to.

Behavioral Technical

The interview started off badly with the interviewer being rude and unwelcoming. She first asked what I knew about the company, and instead of discussing it, she aggressively told me I was wrong even though my answer was generally correct and proceeded to explain what they do, finishing by asking if I understood as if I were a child. She continued to ask questions, and her tone made it clear she disliked my answers, repeatedly asking me to rephrase them. For instance, when asked what I wanted to accomplish in the role, a vague question, I mentioned deepening relationship-building skills and supporting Millenium Health's mission. She harshly stated I hadn't answered and demanded an answer again in a sharp, seemingly angry voice. Additionally, the base salary of $50k is very low for an Account Manager. When I inquired about how compensation is earned, she responded with confusion about my question, asking if I was asking how compensation works. I then ended the call, deciding I don't want to work for a company where the hiring manager is the first impression. Be cautious before applying.

The interview process was smooth and easy. The recruiter was helpful, and the hiring managers were wonderful. The recruiter reached out to me, prepped me on what to study and know. I had my first interview, then a ride along with a current employee, and then I got made an offer. The overall experience was amazing.
