Customer Success Manager
I got contacted on LinkedIn by a recruiter for a call. We talked a bit about the company and the job they were hiring for. It was a super high-level overview, but it was a good chat.
- How far along are you in your job search?
Customer Success Manager
I first had a call with a manager. She was nice but didn't show her camera, which was weird. I got moved to a second interview pretty fast. When I joined the Zoom call, the interviewer was busy with someone else and made me wait. It was super awkward. After that, I talked to the second interviewer for about 30 minutes. He was kind of condescending and I instantly knew this wasn't the job for me. I've never wanted to leave an interview so badly. It was bizarre. I asked him about the company, and he just repeated that it was 'transformative', which was unhelpful. Milestone seems unsure of itself but thinks it's full of Silicon Valley geniuses.
- What would a plaque at age 65, summarizing your career, say about you?
Senior Customer Success Manager
After applying, I was contacted by an admin person for a 30-minute phone call. She wasn't very knowledgeable about the role but put me forward for an onsite interview and a test. The test was described as a basic Microsoft Word test, but it turned out to be a situational test involving Google Analytics. This was followed by a panel interview. The third part was supposed to be a one-on-one interview, but the interviewer was on a call and couldn't make it. The role wasn't a good fit for either party, and the overall process was handled unprofessionally.
- Can you share some of your most successful marketing campaigns?
