Account Manager
My resume was found on Indeed.com and a recruiter reached out. I had a phone interview that same day. Then there was a follow-up call the next week. The week after that, I had an in-person interview. I got the offer two days after the final interview. It was quick and painless! They were nice people and willing to answer my questions and clarify things about the position.
- Can you tell me about your experience managing client accounts?
- What's your background with paid media?
Account Manager
I was left waiting in the lobby for a really long time, which felt disrespectful of my time, especially since I was unemployed at the time. One of the interviewers made some untrue and insulting assumptions about me. However, I did meet some very nice people. After they checked my background, previous pay stubs, and college transcripts, I was offered the job.
- What's your strategy for dealing with a negative company culture?
Account Manager
Got an email to set up an in-person interview at their Santa Clara office. Went to the interview and waited in the lobby for a bit. Then, I had my first interview with a manager. After that, I went back to the lobby and interviewed with another manager who asked pretty much the same questions. They then told me to go home and that they would call me.
