Behavioral Presentation

So at Milan Laser, the interview process is basically three steps to see if you've got the skills and if you'd fit in. First, there's a phone call to chat about your experience and how you communicate. Then, you hop on a Zoom call to check out your professionalism, personality, and how you'd handle different situations. The last interview is in person, where you meet the leaders, see the clinic, and talk more about what they expect. They do it this way to make sure they hire people who are good at service, work well with others, and get results.

The recruiter call was pretty awkward. She just read the job description and then asked a bunch of 'tell me about a time' questions that didn't even seem related to the job. It felt like she didn't really get what the job was about and couldn't hold a normal conversation. She did mention that the travel might mean you'd have to stay somewhere between assignments since they wouldn't fly you home for just one day, and that wouldn't count towards your 18 required days off. She also made it clear that some shifts over 8 hours would only give you a half-hour lunch break. This sounds like a big internal problem they're dealing with. It might not be what the company cares about, but it definitely impacts the work culture, which isn't great even though the company might be growing. I wouldn't recommend this place to work or do business with.
