First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MIGSO-PCUBED.
Project Engineer
I applied via LinkedIn for a position at a well-known company in Varese. The process had three stages: an initial chat, a technical interview with the team lead, and a final interview in English with the country manager. It all happened in less than two weeks, and the feedback was super fast. Unfortunately, they told me that although my profile was a great fit, the position I applied for wasn't confirmed by the client. So I said I was open to working for any client in Northern Italy or abroad, but sadly, there were no confirmed projects with other clients. It felt like a waste of time.
- How would you approach Project Management problem-solving, specifically concerning the management of milestones, costs, and timelines?
Project Engineer
There were 3 interviews: 1) a call with talent acquisition for a phone screen 2) a virtual interview with the talent acquisition manager, split into two parts: one about technical content and project management knowledge, and the second about experience 3) an in-person interview with the line manager.
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Project Engineer
The whole process was just one 30-min chat with HR for a junior project engineer role. It was a typical HR interview. However, they had to halt the process after this first interview 'cause they needed folks with specific clearances for the space industry (like French nationality, clean criminal record, etc.), which I didn't have. It's a bit annoying 'cause it wasn't clear upfront in the job offer. The HR person also asked some questions in English to check my skills.
- Tell me what you know about our company.
- What's your mobility situation?
- What are your salary expectations?
