I had a call with a recruiter. They asked me basic questions that were easy to answer. But then they asked me about my nationality, and even though I have a residence permit that allows me to work in France, I was shocked they didn't proceed with me just because I'm not French. I found it really inappropriate to select candidates based on their nationality instead of their skills. Even in sensitive sectors like defense, nuclear, or automotive, it's possible to sign confidentiality agreements to protect information.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process has 3 stages. First, a phone call with the recruiter. Second, an interview with a Business Manager where they'll talk about the company, the job, what they expect, do a quick English check, and ask some questions. Third, an interview with an agency director where you'll need to give a 10-minute presentation in English, answer questions, and work through a case study. After each stage, you get feedback (go or no go).

Behavioral Technical

This was a terrible interview experience. Pcubed reached out to me, and after I shared my salary expectations, I completed four interviews for a Principal Consultant position. I was then told that while they liked me, they had no openings. This raises the question of why they contacted me initially. A month later, they called back to offer me a role with a salary 10,000 less than my stated expectation. It also became clear they were unsure about the role I interviewed for and were offering a position one level below my target. They even inquired if I would be willing to buy a car for work, despite offering no car allowance. The entire process was disorganized and unprofessional. They seem to have good clients, so it might be worth considering if you're just starting your career, but experienced professionals should probably avoid it, as there are many other consultancies that are more professional, offer better pay, and definitely better benefits.
