Had a self-introduction round where I had to speak for one minute about my work experiences. They asked how to conduct industry analysis, what my role in a team is, to describe 3 characters about myself, and about my career planning and what industry I'm interested in.

It was a laid-back but comprehensive interview, beginning with introductions. They then asked me to present my portfolio and discuss my past work. Throughout the conversation, they asked questions. The meeting was held on Teams and lasted between 30 and 45 minutes. I spoke with one interviewer, and they were quick and clear with the job offer and contract.

It started with the typical interview questions, and then they asked for things outside of my job description, which I managed to answer all of. I was scheduled for an onsite interview, but I sprained my ankle pretty bad a couple days before the interview, and I had to wear an ankle brace. Midea refused to reschedule and insisted I come in, saying that I 'don't want this position enough'.

I really enjoyed the interview process that I had with Midea America Corp. I had a total of four interviews before they issued me a job offer. I spoke with a HR rep, the hiring manager, the director of the Major Appliances department, the VP, and finally the President of the company. Everyone was clear about the job expectations and day-to-day activities and asked great questions in return.
